What it's for

Keeps headphones off the desk and out of sight. The plate screws to the underside of the desk with two #8 or M4 wood screws (not included), and the hook hangs below the edge with an upturned tip.

Set the drop from 15 to 60 mm to clear a keyboard tray or drawer, and the arm from 30 to 70 mm. 45 mm fits most over-ear headsets.

Works under shelves and cabinets too, for bags, lanyards or a controller.

Questions

Which screws do I need?

Two #8 (4 mm) pan-head wood screws, 12-16 mm long for a 19 mm desktop. Shorter is safer than longer; check the desk thickness first.

Can I use tape instead?

Strong mounting tape holds headphones on a clean, flat underside, but screws hold better. For no tools at all, see the clamp-on hook.

How much can it hold?

It is made for headphones, bags and similar light things, not heavy loads.
