What it's for
A name ornament is the gift that gets hung every year. This one is a flat disc with a raised rim, the name in bold letters across the middle and an optional second line for the year, a date or a short word. The letters shrink to fit, so long names still sit inside the rim.
It hangs from a 5 mm hole in a tab at the top; thread a ribbon, twine or an ornament hook through it. At 75 mm it is about the size of a glass bauble and weighs around 12 g, light enough for any branch.
PLA is stiff and keeps its color, but it softens around 55-60 °C. LED tree lights are fine; keep it off old incandescent bulbs and away from the fireplace.

Can I order several names?
Each name is its own part. Order one, then change the name and order the next; or put the names in one order by emailing orders@mandarin3d.com with the list.
Will the letters be readable?
Yes. At the default 75 mm size a short name like Emma prints about 14 mm tall, and longer names shrink to fit inside the rim. Bold letters this size read clearly from across a room.
Can the name be a different color?
The part prints in one color. A second color for the letters is a multicolor add-on at checkout; email us if you want it and we confirm before printing.
How long does it take?
The price panel shows the delivery date. Ornaments print in under half an hour, so most of the time is the USPS trip.
